OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

A SINE QUA NON

Having previously performed artisanal-industrial production, it is now the era of industrial-artisanal production. Industrial to increase and maintain the reliability of our movements, and yet still artisanal to ensure our Haute Horlogerie finishes.

We accompany this approach to production with a constant search for operational excellence. We set ourselves to understand and analyze production workflows before redirecting them with increased efficiency.

A CLEAR MINDSET

Everywhere throughout the company, signs on the walls declare and restate this approach. Through logos, with clear images and visual management, we make every effort to demonstrate, to make tangible operational excellence. Through the creation of indicators, routine processes, QRQC, quality, logistics, and production projects, every employee is invited to participate, to propose possible improvements to their managers, to suggest process modifications. It is a constant cue for each of us, a pro-active attitude towards continuous improvement on the part of everyone.

A WIDESPREAD PRESENCE

Quality Control has already been a factor in the work environment for a long time. Stood beside the workbenches, quality controllers scrutinised the setting of machines as well as the fine-tuning of human motion, to enhance production. Nowadays, a whole set of skills are embedded in each workshop. Once composed of the production manager and a quality controller, a methods specialist and a logistician are now included. Each follows, accompanies production in the workshop, tuning it to the process of the Manufacture as a whole.

A FUNDAMENTAL REORGANIZATION

One of our most recent achievements is the creation of an autonomous production unit. We have succeeded in significantly reducing the flow path of components and saving time, thanks to lean manufacturing processes.
